Services

  • These services are caregiver-child interaction focused and are centered around building attachment and healthy bonding. By use of models such as Attachment Biobehavioral Catch-up (ABC) and Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), I can work with caregivers with children as young as six months old. I use evidence-based practices that are great for:

    * Foster families

    * Adoptive families

    * Families who have recently gone through trauma or significant life transition

    * Infants and toddlers with behavioral and/or regulation issues

    * Any parent or caregiver looking to strengthen their bond with their young child

  • Since children take many years to develop the ability to communicate their feelings in words, play is crucial to getting into their world. I offer different modalities of play therapy (Child-Centered Play Therapy, Filial Therapy, directive play, etc.) to help children work through:

    * Life transitions
 and/or trauma

    * Emotional disturbances/dysregulation

    * Behavioral issues

    * School struggles

    * Anxiety

    * ADHD

    * Issues getting along with siblings or peers

    * Self-esteem problems

  • Adolescence is no doubt a difficult time in life, even without significant events or struggles going on. If you need a safe space for your teen to talk to someone, I can help with a variety of issues such as:

    * Anxiety

    * Depression

    * ADHD

    * LGBTQ+ issues

    * Communication problems

    * Trouble getting along with family or peers

    * Emotional disturbance/dysregulation

    * Self-esteem

  • Family time shouldn’t be painful, but it’s no doubt a lot of work to keep a family functional and happy. Family therapy can come in many shapes and sizes, and can help with problems such as:

    * Communication issues

    * Struggles with boundaries

    * Frequent or increasing conflict

    * Emotional distance/lack of closeness

    * Supporting a family member with individual mental health issues

    * Working through transitions such as divorce, moving, blending families, arrival of a new sibling, etc

  • Individual therapy can provide support in a myriad of ways. I can provide a safe, non-judgmental space for individual adults looking for help with:

    * Relationship or family issues

    * ADHD

    * Anxiety

    * Depression

    * Trauma/PTSD

    * General life stress

    * Identity struggles

    * Insecurity/self-worth issues

  • Parenting is one of the most, if not THE most, difficult roles we can play in our lives. We can work through whatever struggles you’re coming up against in your parenting, such as:

    * Setting boundaries

    * Co-parenting

    * Effective communication

    * Providing emotional support to your children

    * Emotional reactivity

    * Understanding and providing developmentally appropriate parenting for each stage of your child’s life

    * Self-compassion and taking care of yourself as a parent
